Patch 1.4: A Touch of the Divine


Hello Bludgeoneers!

Today, we welcome the Divine classes to the fray! These righteous little guys were the last of the core systems that we figured out (sometime back in '17 or '18) and one that got redesigned recently!

When I say recently, I mean over the winter break and then some as I tried to ensure that not only were they formatted to match the others, but also clear and concise. 

The Divine classes have always posed a challenge to us because the nature of faith is not universal. In the end, we had to pick what made sense for us and the fantasy world(s) that Bludgeon would be used for - That is, a form a faith that is rewarded with palpable, measurable power.

This version of the Divine classes cleans up the approach we used before, removes some of the excess tracking we had so that the end result is a lot easier to play. The different Domains should also provide players with a variety of choices in terms of how much complexity they'd like to take on and our Expertise options, as always, provide a plethora of customization!

That aside, there are edits and formatting improvements across the board. Additionally, some Racial Adaptations have been updated and balanced.

If you've not updated your version of Bludgeon, now's a great time to do so because this update adds 45+ pages of new content!
